A boutique wine shop in the heart of the financial district is looking for a reliable, personable and detailed individual to add to our team. We encourage a fun, friendly and team oriented environment where hard work is rewarded.
We are Currently offering both part time and full time positions. Responsibility will include.
*RECIVING SHIPMENTS OF WINE AND LIQUOR.
*ORGANIZING DELIVERIES IN THE BASMENT
*STOCKING SHELVES
*DUSTING BOTTLES
*RECOMENDING WINES TO COSTUMERS
*ADDING NEW ITEMS TO POS SYSTEM.
*LOCAL DELIVERYS(EXTRA TIPS $$$)
*TAKING PHONE ORDERS
*LEARNING AND TASTING NEW PRODUCTS
The ideal candidate will have wine knowledge and a continued passion for learning. Excellent communication and people skills are necessary. Must be able to assist customers and feel comfortable recommending and selling wine. Must be able to work on his/her own with minimal/no supervision.
Must also:
*Be able to lift 35-40lbs (stocking up to 20cases in one shift)
*Have a can-do attitude
*Flexibility
*21+ preferred (wine tastings will be part of the job).
