Wine Sales Representatives (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Winemonger Imports is an import and wholesale company based in Northern California specializing in Austrian, German, Italian and very select American and French wines. We are currently hiring wine sales reps for the following territories:

-New York City
-Upstate New York
-New Jersey

New York City is divided into the 5 boroughs, but some may be combined.

The right candidate will have the following qualifications:

*At least 2 years experience in fine wine sales.
*Pre-existing relationships with accounts in the territory being applied for.
*Goal orientated with proven track record of achieving sales and profit goals, and creating positive relationships.
*Ability to thrive in a highly competitive environment.
*Proven sales skills.
*Excellent organizational skills.
*Knowledge and passion for fine wine.
*Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
*Candidate MUST own a working computer.
*Persuasive communication skills as well as the ability to close deals.
* Able to comfortably lift and move 40lbs.
* Valid drivers license


Your responsibilities include:

*Managing sales in the market.
*Ensuring sales goals are reached.
*Working in the market to build strong relationships with all accounts.
*Opening new accounts.
*Some nights/weekends visiting accounts to make placements and conduct promotions.


Salary is commission-based depending upon experience, but in the high end of industry standard, with an auto and mobile phone allowance. We will consider candidates who currently represent another book, as long as the portfolios don't compete.
