City Winery Nashville is searching for an experienced cellar hand to join our winemaking team here in the heart of Music City. This is a seasonal Full-time position, which will begin on or around July 1st and run through mid-November. We are a full production urban winery in the heart of Nashville, TN. We plan on doing 25 – 30 tons of high-quality grapes trucked in from the West Coast.
The harvest intern will assist the winemaker with basic activities including but not limited to: cleaning, crushing & processing of fruit, must additions, punchdowns & pump over, fermentation monitoring, pressing, racking, bottling
1-2 harvest(s) experience in a real winery (no home winemaker) REQUIRED.
Confidence in forklift operating (Forklift certification will be provided by the company)
6 days per week during harvest, day off may be on the weekday when necessary.

We require all applicants to be eligible to work in the US. Have production wine cellar experience. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, as well as able to bend and lift on the job. You must be able to work long hours while maintaining a positive attitude and staying on task. Also, experience with WMDB and basic lab protocols will be a plus.
This position is a great opportunity to get a unique experience in small lot production.
Salary of $12 to $13 per hour DOE, overtime paid.
