Trefethen Family Vineyards is looking for full-time and part-time Visitor Center Wine Sales Representatives. We are a family-owned estate vineyard and winery in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. For nearly 50 years, we have been crafting world-class wines with our own estate-grown grapes. Our historic winery, originally built in 1886 and re-opening this spring after a full restoration, is the centerpiece of our estate and the focal point for the many visitors we receive each year.
Requirements
• Passion for fine wine and hospitality
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Availability for at least one weekend day
Job Responsibilities
• Make visitors feel welcome
• Share our story and our wines through interactive tastings
• May include providing tours
• Sell wines and promote wine club membership
• Keep wine shelves stocked
• Keep working area and glassware clean and organized
• Assist Hospitality Specialist in set up, execution and take down of special events
• Performs other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Occasionally bend, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch or climb stairs
