TASTING ROOM ASSISTANT (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Regusci Winery is a historic property dating back to the 1870’s and is home to one of the oldest farming families in the Napa Valley.  Our goal is to create an unforgettable Napa Valley wine tasting experience for our guests through welcoming hospitality and over the top customer service. We are currently looking for a passionate, positive and enthusiastic team member to assist our tasting room team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Tasting Room Staff with daily activities.
  • Able to box and ship in house wine orders.
  • Polish and shine glasses.
  • Assist with the cleanliness of the tasting room and bathrooms.
  • Clean and clear tables.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and Kubota tractor (training provided).
  • Assist with weekly wine orders and the cleanliness of our wine storage, able to palletize wines efficiently and possess organizational skills.
  • Must be driven, possess an outgoing personality, and have the aptitude to solve problems.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Focused, has a positive outlook, is enthusiastic and creative.
  • Takes initiative, is reliable, adaptable and a team player.
  • Must be able to work weekends & holidays.
  • High School Diploma

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Part-time, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM – Requires Weekends.
  • Work at Regusci Winery in Napa, California.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (case of wine).
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
