MARKETING INTERNSHIP (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Prepare to learn all the ins and outs of marketing and selling wine. Our Marketing Intern will help create email and social media campaigns, write interesting copy, maintain our product and customer databases, provide customer support, analyze trends and dominate literally dozens of other exciting endeavors. You’ll learn from passionate wine professionals using sophisticated strategies and systems to sell wine in a way the world’s never seen before. This is a paid seasonal internship and your hours will vary.

YOU'LL LEARN TO

• Create a long-term marketing plan and calendar.
• Build email campaigns, graphic assets and maintain an online store.
• Provide absolutely killer customer service.
• Track sales and visitation metrics and use them to make informed decisions.
• Create compelling content.
• Master the fun nuances of alcohol compliance and shipping.
• Execute three types of deadly karate kicks.
• Sell a ton of wine.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Current enrollment in, or recent graduation from, a 4-year accredited university.
• Academic background in hospitality, marketing, communications, graphic design, information systems or computer science.
• Strong overall computer skills.
• Ability to write comprehensive HTML, CSS and/or Javascript not required, but highly valued.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative tools a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• An undeniable love for wine
• Awesome work ethic and positive attitude.
• Self-starter, independent worker, problem solver, and ability to make deadlines.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Seasonal Employment Opportunity (June-August 2017)
• Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Works at Regusci Winery in Napa, California.
• May be required to work nights and/or weekends on occasion.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (case of wine).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
