POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Assistant assists with daily marketing & administrative tasks and will provide assistance in developing both digital and print collateral, help manage DTC marketing campaigns, develop content for social media platforms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 In collaboration with Marketing Director, develops and executes a Social Media plan that ascribes to brand standards and is appropriate for our audience. Uses timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analyzing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits

 Monitors sites such as Trip Advisor and Yelp. Brings concerns to the Visitor Center manager and replies to feedback when appropriate.

 Works in email marketing software and CRM to create and segment send lists for email communications and produce reports to help assess results of marketing campaigns.

 Support design of direct-to-consumer and e-commerce marketing initiatives and projects including working with graphic designer and Marketing Director on creation, occasional copywriting and proofreading of written marketing materials. Additionally responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels on all marketing materials.

 Responsible for Domaine Carneros web site being up to date on current product information and content. Manages all new product set up and ensures all promotions are current and working properly from web site down to POS system. Additionally ensures accurate listings and links in all Web site engines.

 Organizes and maintains all digital and non-digital assets, graphics library and shared marketing files. Keeps team up to date on any changes made.

 Modifies or creates digital illustration utilizing Photoshop.

 Assists Marketing Director in the development and maintenance of corporate gifting program plan.

 Provides Public Relations team with support materials or requested information to aid their efforts.

 Represent winery at outside functions by pouring wines, when needed.

 Uses knowledge of Domaine Carneros history and all Domaine Carneros wines for wine service during press visits when necessary.
