Maintenance Technician (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for production and facility maintenance including production equipment operation, general building maintenance and repair in accordance with preventive maintenance, aesthetics and safety protocols.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED:

• Performs maintenance on all cellar and crush equipment
• Provides preventive maintenance on all winery machinery including waste water, bottling line, & buildings in general
• Keeps facilities in good working order
• Responds to emergency situations
• Services all rollup doors
• Other duties as assigned
• Creates a safe and respectful work environment following all safety rules and employment policies.  Maintain at all times a safe working environment, shares information and works as a team player

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

• Education – High school education or higher and a proficiency in mathematics required
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and welding techniques desirable
• Valid California driver’s license and ability to be insured through our auto insurance carrier
• Ability to make basic math calculations including but not limited to percentages and ratios
• Basic English skills, both written and verbal required
• Ability to work overtime and be available for emergency calls as requested
• Ability to prioritize work, follow direction and complete tasks in a safe and timely manner
• Ability to contribute to a positive work environment by communicating and performing according to established standards is required
