The Maintenance 1 position is responsible for maintenance and repair of company houses, labor houses and offices in Napa county. Occasional remodeling. Set up for special events. Occasional travel required to other company locations. 

Main Responsibilities
•  Follow safety rules, and knowledge of correct PPE usage
•  Assists skilled maintenance workers with projects (e.g. transporting and/or securing materials, completing specific tasks, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects in a safe, efficient manner.
•  Interior and exterior paint and prep
•  Drywall repair and installation
•  Inform Maintenance Supervisor of any serious repairs or expensive work that needs to be done 
•  Assist with special event set-up
•  Other responsibilities as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and/ or Shop Manager
•  Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Physical Demands
•  Work outdoors year around in temperatures from 35 degrees to 95 degrees F
•  Good vision and hearing
•  Adhere to Company PPE (personal protective equipment) policies
•  Reasonable noise tolerance
•  Reasonable dust tolerance
•  Ability to use or be willing to learn how to use a wide range of hand tools
•  Good driving skills

Experience
•  Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction, maintenance, or related fields

Licenses
•  CPR and first aid or willing to take class
•  Class C license with clean driving record
