Our name says it all. We’re the wine industry’s direct-to-consumer (DTC) platform, and we’re looking for an energetic, experienced, and results-oriented Event and Content Marketing Manager to drive the vision, execution, and success of our product. We help wineries build their direct sales through an end-to-end platform which encompasses the entire buyer journey, from order to delivery.
Position Summary
To compliment our rapid growth we are seeking an Event and Content Marketing Manager to work with our exciting and vibrant Marketing Team. Our successful candidate will play a key role in developing the company’s content strategy and you will own its execution. You will be responsible for the creation, implementation and measurement of the marketing and communication efforts. This is a fluid role that is fast paced. The need to adapt to new ideas and the ability to think outside the box is something we are looking for in. In addition, you will be the point person to market and coordinate our special events, including but not liminted to forecasting the budget, logistics, negotiate event terms and conditions.
Our candidate will:
- Develop high-quality content assets to assist in lead generation for our ecommerce platform Vin65 including landing pages, case studies, blog posts, ebooks and more.
- Develop and implement lead generation campaigns built around those content assets
- Create B2C promotional content and act as online community manager for 46Brix, our consumer shipping loyalty program that’s like Amazon Prime for wine (www.46brix.com).
- Manage planning and logistics of our annual roadshow series with events all over the US and Canada (~8 total), and our participation in major tradeshows (~4).
- Understand and create the appropriate content leveraging the right content type, tone and delivery mechanism to increase awareness and accelerate prospects
- Plan and attend tradeshows and other networking events
- Active involvement with industry associations and general representation in the events industry
- Participate in the strategic planning process for meetings and events, including event objectives, designing events and constructing budgets based business needs
- Work with outside marketing team to develop all marketing and sales collateral.
- Responsible for all planning logistics and implementing all aspects of assigned Events.
- Manage own work flow, deadlines, and make decisions necessary to ensure event success.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts or Marketing/Communications/Business, or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years experience in creating B2B marketing content (experience in lead generation campaigns for SaaS companies is a plus) and event production
- Experience with blogging, email and social media marketing
- Passionate about ecommerce and digital marketing
- Proven track record of success
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a high degree of professionalism.
- Self starting with strong organization and time management skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Experience with HubSpot or Vin65 a plus
