Founded by a second-generation Napa Valley vintner our portfolio includes brands that receive multiple 90+ scores, as well as brands that top Nielsen ratings for volume growth across the country. We move fast, love what we do and have a smart, tight-knit team. We’re seeking a DTC Marketing professional who understands the power of experiential branding and relationships. We have two brand “homes” in downtown Napa: JaM Cellars and John Anthony Vineyards, each with discrete personalities, brand value propositions and brand strategies. The right candidate will be able to work seamlessly across both brands to increase visitation, sales, engagement and loyalty while creating a halo effect from DTC activity for the entire portfolio 

Position Summary:
The Assistant Marketing Manager, DTC, reporting to the CMO will work across brands and channels to reach appropriate audiences at the right time and place to drive visitation, maximize DTC sales and memberships (online and offline), generate consumer engagement and increase loyalty. This position is highly collaborative with the DTC Sales team as well as marketing communications partners in media, PR, graphic design, copywriting, photography and web development.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Brand advocate for each winery understanding each brand’s essence and bringing that to life across relevant touchpoints to meet goals
•  Understanding and supporting key DTC audiences with marketing communications (consumers, travel agents, travel bloggers, concierges, drivers and key partners)
•  Annual goal-setting, budgeting and planning that prioritizes DTC marketing investments where they matter most
•  Database marketing management and execution of CRM strategies either online or offline
•  Website improvements, optimization and maintenance
•  Content development, management and measurement across Advertising, PR and Social Media 
•  Experiential and event marketing, including attendance at key DTC events as the face of the brand
•  Collateral development and print production
•  Pursue quality PR coverage for the winery
•  Key stakeholder and partner support (Napa Valley Vintners, Visit Napa Valley, VinoVisit, CellarPass, local hotel partners)
•  Metric setting, measurement of success and ongoing reporting
•  Occasional cross-functional support of National Consumer and Trade marketing as required

Qualifications:
•  3-6 years experience in DTC Marketing with a winery
•  Bachelor's degree required, ideally with Marketing major
•  Strong both strategically and in implementation
•  Fluent in social media channels FB, Instagram and Twitter
•  Print production knowledge and experience
•  Conversant with Vin65 CMS and Google Analytics
•  Conversant with direct marketing techniques to drive sales and loyalty
