This position will provide backup support to the management and sales team, and perform a variety of administrative functions. The right candidate will be naturally organized with attention to detail, poses strong computer and communication skills, and maintain a positive attitude in fast paced, multi-functional environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Act as receptionist to maintain inbound and outbound calls, voicemail messages and phone system.
• Perform full range of administrative support including filing and record keeping, scheduling and administering tasting appointments, photocopying and scanning documents.
• Act as a liaison between Tasting Room customers and management team.
• Manage office cleanliness, supply orders, office equipment and vendors.
• Coordinate travel and restaurant reservations.
• Use PC based software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) to complete administrative assignments.
• Assist with local errands including deliver/pick-up packages, prepare/process documents and shipments.
• Use AMS software to process sales orders, run reports and maintain customer data.
• Work with management team to develop brands, promote and sell wines, and improve Tasting Room operations.
• Other duties as assigned by management team.
Qualifications:
• Experience with administrative support and office management preferred.
• Winery experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Able to work full time and lift 40 pounds.
• Customer service skills required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organized, detail oriented and able to independently prioritize multiple tasks.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Non-smoking.
• Knowledge of a foreign language is a plus.
Pay: $25/hr.
Hours: M - F (9 am - 5:30 pm)
