Ultra Premium Napa Valley Winery is seeking an energetic and skilled Assistant Winemaker to join our team. This full-time salary position will report directly to the Winemaker/GM. Excellent benefits package including competitive salary and 401(k). Fun and exciting work environment! 

Primary Responsibilities:
Directly supervises lab personnel and insures that all wine records are current and accurate. 
Assists in coordinating and scheduling cellar and bottling activities with appropriate staff.
Maintains a correct physical inventory from the grape to bottle and enters all work orders into winemaking software.
Assists with ordering bottling materials and supplies.

Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor of Science (B.A.) in Enology or equivalent; or five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements:
Candidate must have the ability to work independently and have a robust working knowledge of all cellar, lab and bottling activities.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, clients, and the general public.
Must carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. 
Knowledge of WMDB 
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Must have ability to lift and/or carry up to 35 pounds
