Independent Wine Broker/Sales Representative
La Pitchoune Winery
La Pitchoune of Sonoma County is actively seeking Independent Wine Brokers or Sales Representatives to actively promote and sell our full assortment of wines to fine restaurants and retail establishments in San Francisco, California. This is a commission-only contract position with a very competitive remuneration package with potential for bonuses when sales goals are exceeded.
We are seeking individuals with an existing book of business and relationships in San Francisco.
The individuals we are seeking would have the following responsibilities:
- Open new accounts
- Manage existing accounts
- Accept all orders for customers in your area
If you are successful in your area, you may also gain responsibility to arrange and conduct wine tastings, special events and wine-maker dinners. For this, the individual will be remunerated in the form of a generous daily consulting fee, plus a per diem as well as your standard commission from sales generated at the event.
The ideal individual for this role should have:
- Knowledge and passion about wine (particularly Pinot noir and Chardonnay)
- Several years of sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry
- Existing relationships with higher-end restaurants and retail establishments
- Excellent account management skills
- A professional attitude and interpersonal skills
La Pitchoune is a small, very high-end specialty producer of Pinot noir and Chardonnay from Sonoma County. We recently released our 2012 Pinot Noir – Sonoma Coast as well as our 2013 Vin Gris of Pinot Noir. In 2015, we will be releasing our 2013 Pinot Noir – Sonoma Coast as well as two Pinot noir vineyard designates. Additionally in 2015, two Chardonnay wines will also be available for sale: one Sonoma Coast, and one vineyard designate.
