Sales Administrator - US Wholesale (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Over 50 years ago, Ridge made its first Monte Bello, and two years later its first zinfandel. Since this time, Ridge has championed single-vineyard winemaking, searching California for those rare vineyards where climate, soil, and varietal are ideally matched. Ridge Vineyards has two locations; high on Monte Bello Ridge in California's rugged Santa Cruz Mountains in Cupertino, and in the heart of Sonoma County in Healdsburg.

OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a dynamic individual to assist the US Wholesale Sales operation. Qualified candidates will provide exceptional customer service to our distributors, and sales team. This position requires exceptional communication, organizational, and positive people management skills. This is a full time role that reports to our Vice President of US Wholesale Sales, and is located at our distribution center in Milpitas, CA.

Previous wine industry experience preferred, but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Order Processing

- Invoicing

- Management and communication of accounts receivables with internal finance department and wholesale customers

- Managing the input and adjustments of allocations for National Wholesale

- Account and product maintenance on WiMS and ShipCompliant

- Month-end shipment reporting

- State wine label registrations where required nationally

- State license and permit registration and renewals where required nationally

- State price posting where required nationally

- Maintenance of out of state paper records

- Maintain communications and relations with our national wholesalers ordering and accounting departments

- Work with the Ridge warehouse and CWT warehouse to ensure wines are ready to ship and orders are processed correctly and timely

- Work with the Ridge Regional Sales Managers

- Maintain and manage relevant wholesaler contacts

- Organize and process sample shipments for our Virtual Tastings (2x per year)

- Cross training and covering California and Export Administrator duties when needed

-Taking correspondence to local post office or FedEx as needed

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will possess:

- General knowledge of the wine industry and terminology

- Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Have attention to detail

- Ability to multitask

- Be a team player

- Outgoing personality, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to develop relationships with our wholesale customers
