POSITION SUMMARY: Coordinates sales strategies and promotions for major chains and key accounts while managing the associated distributors and their teams. Maintains the integrity of the brand while meeting or exceeding targeted sales goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•  Cultivating relationships, creative thinking, organizing sales promotions throughout the year, and understanding the corporate chain environment are all important aspects of this position.
•  Working closely with National Chain Manager coordinating sales strategies and promotions for major chains and key accounts as assigned. Inform and coordinate all the promotions with the effected distributors and insure that the promotions are well executed and on target.
•  Developing and cultivating close relationships with all the major MIDWEST US chain buyers from the Lakes region down through Texas and Arkansas. Successfully service them in all programs and promotions. Works closely with National Chain Manager in maintaining these relationships and engaging our key selling partners in promotions that build our sales.
•  Work shoulder to shoulder with all of our many distributors in assigned territory to create & present compelling promotions.
•  Meeting person to person with chain buyers and presenting opportunities, driving sales and growth. 
•  Work side by side with the Bogle Area Managers
•  Managing the associated distributor network including merchandisers, KAM’s, and senior management.
•  Analyzing, budgeting, designing, and presenting regional sales programs, driving sales, and achieving goals.
•  Analyze our current position within the chain arena and make recommendations on how we can improve our effectiveness within these accounts.
•  Communicate clearly and efficiently with accounts, distributors, and winery management.
•  Inspiring others to join and work with you in presenting promotions that engage distributor management to meet their goals and objectives.
•  Ability to “make friends and influence people” in the corporate chain world.
•  Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:
•  Bachelor’s degree
•  Minimum 5 years wine sales experience. 
•  3 years’ experience in corporate chain sales.
•  Exemplary communication and presentation skills
•  Goal oriented while maintaining excellent relationships with our business partners
•  Ability to work in a dynamic environment
•  Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint. Familiarity with Tradepulse a plus.
•  Familiarity with AC Nielson 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift and carry at least 55 pounds frequently. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work on a computer and utilize office equipment for long periods of time.
Travel requirements: Must be able to travel away from home for as much as 5 day intervals on an as needed basis. Must have valid driver’s license, and be insurable by the company’s insurance provider.
