Winebow Boston, a member of the Winebow Group, is expanding in Massachusetts and seeking a number of new roles including a Division Sales Manager. The territories within this Division are located from Metro West to Western MA. This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate with a proven industry track record to join a global leader in the Fine Wine and Craft Spirits world. Division Sales Manager Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management of team of sales representatives who call on both on-premise and off-premise accounts.
• Work directly with and as support for sales staff in the market.
• Drive business through direct relationships and through direction of sales representatives.
• Attend weekly and monthly meetings, prepare and present recaps on brand and team accomplishments.
• Meet with and work in markets with supplier representatives.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports.
• Job requires both time on the street and days working out of the office.
• Create and monitor brand plans for sales reps.
Additional Skills and/or Educational Background:
• BS Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
• Prior experience working in the wine industry in either a marketing or sales position.
• Prior management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
• Superior follow through and the ability to handle multiple tasks with limited supervision.
• Understanding of pricing to the marketplace
• At least 5 years experience in the specialty wine trade as either a supplier or Distributor Sales Rep, or retail or restaurant experience.
• Strong general knowledge of wine and spirits.
• Passion for Wines.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening hours, and weekends when required.
• Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds.
