Results Partners is seeking a natural leader to join our team in the role of Senior Supervisor. The primary responsibility of the Senior supervisor is to work closely with the vineyard crews to make sure the jobs are done effectively and efficiently.
Main Tasks:
• Orchestrating movement, managing, training, and coaching of the vineyard labor crews
• Planting, pruning, brush pulling, tying, training and harvesting along with development tasks such as trellis and irrigation installation
• Monitoring vines for pest and disease
• Implement timecard tracking and organization
• Safety and Compliance to ensure the safety of the crews
Requirements
• Previous experience in a supervisory role (or very strong natural leadership skills)
• Previous hands-on vineyard experience
• Ability to get along well with others/wide range of personalities
• Possess successful problem-solving abilities and flexible thinking
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and long hours (especially during the busy season and harvest)
• Possess a valid Driver’s license
• Computer skills with Word and Excel a plus
• Capable of calculating vineyard acreage/crew progress to help with budgeted hours
• Ability to safely operate various vineyard machines (tractors and all-terrain vehicles)
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
