Position Summary:

As the Supply Chain Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership, full-cycle project implementation and analytical rigor to the Supply Chain Management teams and supporting implementation of an efficient and effective flow of goods to meet customer’s requirements. You play a leadership role in the supply chain analysis, cost of ownership, project execution and supply chain metrics arena in support of optimizing flow from wine planning to the customer.

Working with a dynamic team, your goal is to establish a strong business partnership across the supply chain and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in order to provide timely and accurate analytics and reporting. Additionally, you will provide training, development and mentoring to the analysts and process owners across the supply chain team.
 
Duties/Essential Job Functions:

• Ascertains industry and supply chain best practices to identify and execute new and/or unique programs to drive customer satisfaction, support growth and improve SC metrics/costs.
• Partners cross-functionally to solicit internal customer feedback to identify supply chain improvement opportunities, dimension cost/metrics and lead/implement solutions.
• Oversees internal communications and presentations related to key performance metrics, program updates, and on-going program information
• Identifies, investigates, dimensions impact and communicates potential risks to the supply chain.
• Consults with distributors to understand their distribution networks, market costs, improvement opportunities and determines the logistics programs and resources required to meet their needs.
• Investigates complaint trends, facilitates creative solutions, and ensures support plans are in place to maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Oversees product cost analysis and drives supply chain cost reduction opportunities throughout the product life cycle.
• Applies analytic methods, modelling or tools to understand, predict, or control supply chain operations or processes.
• Designs and conducts the training and development of SC team members for improved analytical methodology and tools.
• Accountable for mentoring of supply chain coordinators, planners and analysts in a matrix organization whose responsibilities support supply chain management through metrics, reporting and analysis.
• Analyzes and communicates monthly metrics and financial results compared with budget/forecast to identify areas for efficiencies, cost reduction, and other opportunities, and develop solutions with Operations leadership.
• Effectively executes and supports the strategies set forth to improve supply chain performance while identifying goals to support supply chain and company strategy.
• Project leadership, implementation or special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or a related field. M.B.A preferred.

Experience: 5 or more years direct or related experience in a supply chain or operations analysis role. Experience working in  a CI/Lean environment is a plus.

Knowledge: Must have exceptional communication skills, demonstrated leadership skills, business savvy and proven problem-solving ability. Ability to influence cross-functional change and create / build relationships. Must possess extensive knowledge of supply chain or operations analytics and a proven record of process improvement inclusive of modeling techniques in a growth organization including advanced proficiency with MS Excel/ERP (SAP) and analyzing large data files. Ability to balance multiple projects & processes simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, self-motivated with high energy for business process improvement and strong cross-functional collaboration.
