Position Summary:
As the Materials & MTO Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating the execution of planned production orders for packware and made to order operations. This role will support these operations concurrently while working closely with the Planning and Compliance departments, ensuring all documentation is processed accurately. This position will also generate transfer orders, move materials between facilities and work with leadership to account for and track production and spending trends.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with planning and production to optimize scheduling and material availability

- Make improvement recommendations and implement solutions that support made to order/materials business strategies that support internal and external customers
|
- Communicate cost center spend, providing detail of variations to monthly budget
|
- Communicate with internal and external suppliers/customers to coordinate material deliveries as appropriate
|
- Execute activities in SAP related to packware and made to order operations
|
- Work with Compliance, Customer Service, Distribution, Planning and other customers to ensure all documentation is processed accurately
|
- Make transfers of materials (raw and finished) between DFV Operations in accordance with guidelines, as needed
|
- Maintain accurate inventory levels for raw materials through cycle counts; investigate and resolve material issues with Inventory Coordinator and Distribution team
|
- Receive and confirm materials and finished inventory for packware and MTO production lines
|
- Prepare all necessary documents for MTO and packware production teams
|
- Provide administrative support to department which includes ordering supplies, maintaining scorecards and communicating to internal and external customers
|
- Assist in drafting annual budget for cost center
|
- Aid in the development and documentation of processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows
|
- Provide information to management with regard to KPI performance
Position Requirements:
Education:
- High School Diploma, College or Trade School Preferred
Experience:
- Analytical/Office 4+ years
Knowledge:
- Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills. Typing 45 WPM, 10-key by touch, data entry, word, excel, email, and intranet
