Premier Cru Wine Merchants, a fine wine and spirits boutique on Madison Avenue is seeking a qualified Salesperson/Events & Social Media Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will have considerable small buisness retail experience, basic+ wine knowledge and experience with WordPress/social media.
We are a small neighborhood shop that strives to create relationships with all our clients - a friendly, approachable and easy going demeanor is a must.
Daily tasks include:
-Merchandizing/organizing inventory
- Assisting with inventory purchases
- Registry operation, standard opening/closing procedures
- Website and social media maintenance
- Cultivating client relationships with tailored service
- Collaborate with local Madison Avenue businesses on in-store events and mutual clients
- Organize and staff occasional in-store events during and after business hours
Requirements:
- Minimum two years wine & spirit retail or hospitality experience
- Experience with WordPress or comparable website platforms
- Experience with social media content writing
*The job entails light lifting - up to one case of wine.
The position is part time with the potential to transition full time. We offer a highly competitive salary.
