The Winebow Group, a prestigious importer and distributor of premium wines and craft spirits from around the world, seeks a Sales Consultant for Metro NY. Our ideal candidate should live in NY and be familiar with the NY markets.
As a Sales Consultant you will be responsible for:
1. Servicing both on and off premise accounts, while also being responsible for aggressively looking for new opportunities to expand market share.
2. Maintaining and building strong relationships with established customers, while growing our business incrementally.
3. Have a firm understanding of the NY wine business.
Successful candidates must have:
1. A SOLID understanding of New Yorks neighborhoods and culture.
2. One plus years experience working in the wine sales or commensurate experience in a retail or restaurant setting.
3. Fundamental wine knowledge and a firm understanding of craft spirits.
Additionally, individuals must possess strong selling skills along with excellent verbal and communication skills. Exceptional time management skills are also required. Access to a reliable source of transportation is a plus.
