Public Relations Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

The Winebow Group a global leader in fine wine and spirits has a very exciting opportunity in our Manhattan office. We are looking for a talented, self-motivated individual who is looking to build a career in public relations and wine. The PR Coordinator will be very involved in the development and coordination of internal and external communication, including international teams. The ideal candidate is hard working, extremely detail oriented, organized and enthusiastic. The PR Coordinator must work well on a team, but also take initiative and work independently, handling a wide variety of assignments, situations, confidential information and correspondence in a highly professional manner. 

Qualifications:

•  Excellent written skills as content creation and communications are key responsibilities for this position

•  Extremely organized and detail-oriented

•  Communicates and interacts successfully with all levels of the organization

•  Manages time sensitive assignments and multiple priorities with a sense of urgency and flexibility in a fast paced environment

•  Appreciation for wine and wine education

Responsibilities:

•  Collaborate with marketing, sales and wineries to support execution of public relations efforts

•  Manage and fulfill media requests for product information, materials and samples, including organization and shipment of wines. 

•  Develop and manage calendars and records for key media programs

•  Monitor print, online and social media in relation to brands and trends

•  Coordinate samples, tasting booklets and materials for key media tastings

•  Maintain web content as it relates to public relations, including posting reviews, media coverage, and press releases

•  Assist with communication of reviews and media coverage to colleagues and suppliers

Computer Skills:

•  Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop, Cision, and familiarity with Burelles Luce or the equivalent a plus.

Additional:

•  Occasional weekend and evening availability

•  Candidate must be comfortable lifting boxes of wine up to 25lbs
