PR Interm / Entry Level (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

The Winebow Group is looking for a talented, self-motivated individual who would like to build experience in public relations and wine. This is an entry-level position and ideal for a college student or recent college graduate. This position will be working out of our Manhattan office. The PR intern will assist the team in the development and coordination of internal and external communication, including managing our press database and samples for media tastings. 

The ideal candidate is hard working, detail oriented, organized and enthusiastic. The PR intern must work well on a team, but also be comfortable working independently and in a highly professional manner. Candidate is comfortable lifting boxes of wine up to 25 lbs. 

Responsibilities:

•  Updating our press database with all reviews and media hits that the PR department compiles

•  Working with the PR Coordinator on samples submissions and materials for key media tastings

•  Assist with researching press and key wine media through internet and database searching

•  Help manage calendars and records for key media programs

Education:

BA/BS or currently acquiring the degree

Computer Skills: Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Proficient in social media platforms

Additional Skills:

•  PR experience a plus

•  Excellent verbal and written skills

•  Extremely organized and able to manage time sensitive tasks

•  Appreciation for wine and wine education

•  Foreign languages a plus, especially Italian and Spanish
