The Winebow Group, a prestigious importer and distributor of premium wine and craft spirit products from around the world, seeks a NJ on Premise Division Manger to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing a team of sales professionals, forming relationships and building distribution in on premise accounts. All resumes will be reviewed directly by our hiring manager.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
• Develops an effective marketing and sales strategic plan in order to maximize wine distribution within an established or growing customer base.
• Provides timely educational programs, materials and services when deemed necessary.
• Responsible for communicating directly with the VP / General Manager of NJ on any specific market conditions or issues.
• Meets agreed upon goals and objectives.
• Communicates with assigned team effectively and in a timely manner.
• Maintaining and increasing sales of our products.
• Keeping up to date with products and competitors.
• Conduct monthly sales meetings.
• Servicing the needs of our existing customers while cultivating new accounts.
• Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market.
• Compiling and analyzing sales figures, identifying trends and developing sales strategies to address as needed.
Successful candidates will have:
• 5-7 yrs of Solid industry experience.
• Leadership qualities with previous management experience.
• Candidates must have a proven track record within the Wine Industry.
• BA/BS degree.
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Diver application and an on-going desire to learn the company information portal.
• Good writing, communication skills and the ability to complete administrative requirements in a timely manner.
• Must have strong math and analytical skills.
