We are seeking a marketing manager to lead and drive the growth of an exciting portfolio of brands within The Winebow Group, and help bring this organization to the next level. This role calls for someone who brings wine knowledge, creativity and business savvy to the table and looks forward to making a significant impact on the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement annual and long-term marketing plans for the assigned portfolio
• Apply a high-degree of creative energy and innovation to wine marketing; work with digital and social channel teams to ensure plans are dynamic and leading-edge
• Inform and develop materials on various wine regions and wine product launches
• Drive toward best-in-class packaging designs for key brands
• Lead cross functional teams with sales, public relations, creative services, compliance, finance, purchasing, customer service and suppliers
• Create and communicate brand performance data to effectively manage the business
• Maximize effectiveness and accuracy of marketing budget
• Maintain relationships with key co-marketing partners; forge new relationships
Qualifications
• Wine Knowledge; Preferably Level 3 WSET (or comparable) or higher
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience within the wine industry
• Consumer goods or services marketing a plus
• Strong balance of creative and analytical skills
• Ability to think strategically, and communicate strategic marketing recommendations to an
executive level
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Collaborative attitude and style; experience managing cross functional teams
• Foreign language capabilities a plus but not required
• Excellent PPT, Excel skills; Openness to embracing new technology platforms
