Gary's Wine & Market place is looking for a Delivery Driver to operate out of our Wayne location. The Driver will make local deliveries for the store and performs light stocking as time permits. Major Areas of Responsibility: *Makes local deliveries *performs some product stocking *Match all deliveries against correct paperwork *Ensure that items to be delivered are securely transported *Keep delivery vehicle organized and clean *Perform deliveries promptly *Maintain secure vehicle – lock doors *Ensure that vehicle is operated in compliance with all applicable traffic and road regulations (including no cell phone usage while driving) *Perform general maintenance as needed Job Requirements: *Strong sense of customer service *Must be able to drive for long periods of time *Good verbal communication skills *Basic estimation and math skills *Ability to lift 70 lbs *Possess valid and applicable NJ state driver's license, free of violations Note: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
