Manager of Business Process (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Scope of Position:

Manages and leads related SKU Process activities required to support the manufacture and sale of BFB Spirit & Wine brands worldwide.  Works with internal and external groups including Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, BFDC, Packaging, External Manufacturing Operations, Research & Development, Legal, Finance, and distributors to approve, develop, set-up and manage all current and new SKUs for the BFB Global Wine & Spirits portfolio.

Basic Function:
Manages and leads resolutions for complex compliance process for Domestic, International, Local and Federal Government regulations for all BFB products and related bottling materials to ensure delivery and sale to all BFB markets worldwide.  Responsible for ensuring the SKU Rationalization process is followed in the review of current and designated slow-moving SKUs.  Leads in defining the master data & bill of material requirements for SKU creation, set-up to support order writing.  Communications and interfaces with Marketing, Field Sales ( both Domestic and International),  Supply Chain, Packaging, Purchasing, Production, External Manufacturing Operations, Legal, Research & Development, outside vendors & distributors in regards to Supply Chain implementation of approved packaging projects and changes.

Responsibilities:
Manages SKU Processes team on new label development related to new products, package changes, gift products, extension of existing products and compliance changes to non-US markets.  Provides leadership ensuring consistency in processes and setup.  Develops business and technical skills of staff to increase productivity.  Fosters relationship building with internal and external clients.
 
Responsible for working with BFB Field Sales to evaluate and determine specific market needs to ensure the SKU Rationalization & approval process is followed. Manage final approval requirements of the SKU Rationalization process, including review of request for completeness and COG accuracy. Stay informed about any government mandatory packaging/labeling changes or requirements.  Work with SKU Processes, Field Sales, Marketing, and Legal to manage and resolve complex International compliance issues for all BFB Spirits & Wine products and related bottling materials in a timely and cost effective matter
 
Under departmental guidelines, implements, proactively develops, recommends changes and coordinates new bottle design/size, labels, cartons, or other packaging supplies as needed in the market place adhering to local government mandatory regulations.  Works with and directs production personnel in coordinating manual packing, sticker application etc. as needed.  Follows each project from initiation through completion.
 
Identify and confirm the Master Data specification requirements for material creation and set-up to meet all supply chain requirements including Bill of Material requirements ensuring data meets all Supply Chain requirements.
 
Project Management for Internal Supply Chain package change activities including developing appropriate timelines, status follow ups, scheduling and leading team meetings as needed.  Maintains Project status files for details on all related SKU projects and able to provide detail in a timely manner. 
 
Supports the annual gift/tin program with International and Domestic markets. Includes participating/leading in the multi-departmental Gift Council meetings as needed. 
 
Supports Marketing, Sales and Customer related inquiries regarding SKUs, costs, and related materials as required. Performs various other duties, assignments, process improvements or special projects as requested at the direction of the Supervisor.  Develops, maintains and updates SKU Processes metrics as indentified for job performance measurements and key Supply Chain performance metrics.

Must Requirements (including any physical requirements)

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3 – 5 years Supply Chain experience.
• Proven knowledge of the production process and multi-plant logistic operations involving high level shipping activities plus the corresponding knowledge customer service related activities.
• Proven ability to lead a team to accomplish established goals.
• Proven ability to work independently, yet thrive in a team environment, including the ability to productively motivate and lead cross functional teams without direct line responsibility.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical and mathematical skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and leadership abilities, including the proven ability to interact productively with multiple management levels.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with the ability to respond timely and effectively to multiple inquiries from a variety of internal and external contacts utilizing Gmail and other modes.
• Demonstrated ability to work & communicate with diverse International people/groups and understand, respect, and appreciate the diverse differences.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external contacts including negotiating of services.
• Experience operating software’s such as Excel, Word, and Google.

• Ability to travel internationally, visits to production facilities, packaging/vendor meetings. #SM 1
