Packaging Sourcing Associate (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Be the packaging change you want to see in the wine world! As our Packaging Associate, you’ll be responsible for facilitating all details of packaging between Winc’s bottling facilities and dry good suppliers while driving innovation for all our packaging. In this role, you’ll build vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, insure all dry goods are received on time for bottling. 
What You'll Do... 
  • Oversee all packaging sourcing and purchasing for Winc’s wine program
  • Drive innovation and fearlessly tackle new projects
  • Test new packaging to make sure it meets quality standards for bottling and shipping
  • Work closely with our Operations & Logistics team on storage and transportation of dry goods
  • Establish relationships with new and existing suppliers and negotiate pricing
  • Send quarterly projections to suppliers
  • Travel within California for bottlings and to meet with suppliers as needed (usually once a month or so) 
What You Bring... 
  • A few years of experience in a Sourcing or Product Development position
  • Experience negotiating pricing and maintaining vendor relationships
  • A knack for thinking outside the box when it comes to packaging (pun totally intended) and a keen eye for industry trends
  • Hopefully wine industry experience, but if not, then some serious passion and excitement for it!
  • A borderline obsessive approach to staying organized and on top of multiple ongoing projects
