Divisional Vice President, LLS Selections (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

The Winebow Group a prestigious importer of Italian, Spanish and South American wines, is seeking a Divisional Vice President of Sales - West for Leonardo LoCascio Selections (LLS). This person would ideally be based out of California.

LLS is dedicated to importing and selling a diverse and celebrated portfolio of Italian wines. As the Divisional Vice President you will be responsible for managing the LLS Portfolio in the western US. This position will include working with the Senior Vice President/General Manager to create and implement strategies, programs, marketing and business development to grow revenues throughout the West.

Job responsibilities include:

Direct, develop and manage the LLS- West Import Sales Teams to build distribution.
Develop and implement successful sales and marketing programs for respective territories, to include establishing territory action plans and strategic initiatives to capture market share.
Evaluate distributor performance.
Work to develop new sales channels 
Meet sales objectives by evaluating performance and monitoring depletions throughout the distributor network
Identify potential growth areas/emerging trends in respective territories and implement strategic plans to capture market share.
Work closely with Directors of National Accounts- On and Off Premise- to promote the continued growth of the portfolio’s business in these pivotal areas.
Launch new brands.
Introduce marketing strategies to build brand awareness.
Collect and analyze sales trends in respective territories.
Manage multiple projects and assignments, prioritize, meet deadlines and achieve sales objectives.
Develop, prepare and present reports to review sales and marketing efforts and accomplishments throughout the year.
Provide leadership, mentor and manage staff of sales professionals.

Job Requirements

Successful candidates will have:
10 plus years as head of Sales Division for a wine company with an Italian wine portfolio.
BA/BS Degree.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the proven ability to communicate across multiple team members and departments.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
Highly professional and charismatic.
Exceptional time management skills with the ability to successfully deal with continuous change.
Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
Experience using database sales systems.
Experience using Diver and Navision software applications.
