A family owned, organically farmed estate with a brand new gravity flow winery facility in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation.
Job entails working with ownership and consulting winemaker to carry out all facets of wine production from harvest through bottling. Operating of destemmer & press, racking, barrel work, basic lab tasks, cellar maintenance and hygiene. Potential to evolve into winemaker role.
Supplemental job responsibilities to include hospitality assistance, offering tours, hosting tastings and all other aspects of being an ambassador for the brand.
Qualifications
Previous winery experience is required with strong organizational skills matched with attention to detail. Self motivated.
Physical Requirements
Requires schedule flexibility, longer hours during harvest and capable to lift 40 pounds.
