We are seeking a high energy, motivated Merchandiser Assistant / Maintenance in Liverpool, NY.
The primary responsibility of the merchandiser assistant is to receive, warehouse, and manage POS materials.
Clean and organize offices, kitchen, salesrooms, and bathrooms every day.
Work hours are 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri with ½ hr. lunch to be taken prior to 2pm.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESULTS
• Associate handles the receiving of POS at the Liverpool Office.
• Put away and or distribute all incoming POS.
• Update inventory of all POS on the Data Report and POS System in a timely manner.
• Pull and distribute POS to salespeople.
• Separate and organize rebates and shelf talkers.
• Help set up and break down salesroom for meetings.
• Associate will aid Merchandisers in the construction of custom display pieces.
• Clean POS Warehouse as needed. (Sweep floors and maintain garbage)
III. HOUSEKEEPING
• Clean & Mop bathrooms daily
• Clean & Mop kitchen area daily
• Clean Offices daily
• Empty all trash cans daily
• Vacuum rugs twice a week or as needed
• General cleaning & vacuum meeting rooms after sales meetings & trainings.
• Shovel and salt walkways in front of office.
Skills & Requirements
Education, Certifications and /or licenses:
• High School Diploma or equivalent, college preferred.
Experience:
• Will train.
Knowledge/Skills:
• An understanding of wine & spirits is required
• Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer systems including presentation software (SAP a plus).
• Must be a results oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pays attention to detail and meets deadlines.
• Operation of housekeeping equipment, buffers, (a plus but will train)
• Operation of a fork lift. (a plus but will train)
