Nottingham Cellars is hiring a Tasting Room/Hospitality Manager. This full time essential position is a working manager position responsible for all daily Tasting Room activities. Nottingham Cellars has been producing award winning wines since 2009. This rapidly growing, family owned winery is looking for someone to assist with the guidance of Direct to Consumer Sales and Hospitality Programs in our Tasting Room.

Job Description 

General summary:

Build and lead a team of Tasting Room employees who are knowledgeable, hospitality professionals, well versed in the art of selling. Work in conjunction with Management Team to develop and implement new selling tools and a business development/marketing plan to support the in place growth plan and brand image of Nottingham Cellars. This self-motivated individual must fully understand and demonstrate the concepts of "Team" and "Leadership" as well as puts a high value on "Success".

Major Duties and Responsibilities: 

Sales/Service/Systems Management

•  Works in conjunction with Management Team to maintain sales goals for Tasting Room
•  Manages all daily Tasting Room activities including Schedules, TR appearance, Inventory Management and all Retail duties.
•  Works with Management Team to create and execute a Business Development plan that provides the needed Direct to Consumer growth required to support the in place business plan
•  Works in conjunction with Management Team to create and implement a portfolio of unique TR experiences that drive revenue and support the brand identity of Nottingham Cellars
•  Works in conjunction with Management Team to understand the diversity of the customer base and provide and execute a well thought out DTC business plan that supports all channels of business, walk-ins, wine club members, corporate customers and luxury wine purchasers/collectors.
•  Works in conjunction with Wine Club/Direct Sales Manager to create a seamless strategy to blaze a new trail toward "Best in Class Service" in every customer engagement.
•  Demonstrate capacity for customer engagement and salesmanship including: 
Approachability, Perceptiveness, Tact, Resilience, Product Knowledge and Conflict Management
•  Highly visible on the sales floor to customers and team alike.
•  Guides Team with humble yet confident leadership skills and places a high value on success.

Successful Candidate should:

Have previous experience in Tasting Room Management- Assistant, Supervisor, Lead is acceptable 
Possess Superior Knowledge of Hospitality and Sales
Be Self Motivated, Goal Oriented, Detailed and Success Driven
Must possess Superior computer skills –i.e. Database Management, retail POS Systems
Have a clear understanding of retail sales and marketing programming
Possess strong Sales Skills 
Possess Superior Customer Service Skills
Be will and able to work weekends
Be able to create and work within a team atmosphere
