SUMMARY ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Packaging Operator:
The packaging operator is a union hourly position responsible for conducting safe, efficient and quality bottling and packaging of product. This role will ensure bottled product is packaged in compliance with all operating procedures to support target quality outcomes while adhering to packaging SOP’s. This position will complete established packaging quality checks and measures as well as be attentive to ensure correct application of all raw materials and proper liquid is bottled as scheduled. The position will also be responsible for the efficient and effective line change, set up, running adjustments and operation of all packaging equipment. You must be willing to perform any other duties as assigned by management.
In order to be considered for this role you:
•Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
•Must be at least 21 years of age
•Must be able to successfully complete Work Keys Assessment
•Must be able to complete a physical assessment
•One years’ manufacturing experience is preferred
•Previous packaging experience is a plus
•Forklift experience is preferred
•Previous experience in a collective bargaining environment is a plus
