Reporting to the Manager of Global Infrastructure, you will be a part of building and maintaining the Gallo Windows server infrastructure, including customer-facing, hosted and cloud environments. You will actively work with various Subject Matter Experts (SME) to assist in configuring and delivering their needed infrastructure.

What You Will Do

• Support multiple business areas and SME’s.  Understand how their business and applications run enough to assist in building the infrastructure they need.
• Participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management of systems.
• Update system generated monitoring scripts, along with user initiated scripts, to continue to automate repeatable tasks.
• Work with 3rd party partners to scope out new requirements for projects, and track their progress through projects assigned to them.
• Communicate project status to Manager and Sr. Level Management as needed.
• Review and define training manuals for new hardware and/or new Operating Systems.
• Troubleshoot server technology problems and coordinate resolution with appropriate groups, including vendors
• Evaluate, install, and configure 3rd party utilities to support the management of the operating systems and hardware
• Participate in the development of training manuals for the use of new or modified equipment, operating systems and software

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years information systems experience reflecting increasing levels of experience; or 6 years of information systems experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering or Business Administration plus 1 year information systems experience.
• Required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when necessary
• Required to be on-call for remote or on-site after hours work
• Working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to solve practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Possess a basic knowledge of development toolset, development processes, and Quality Assurance methodologies
• Skilled in the use of MS Word and MS Excel at an intermediate level
• Required to lift or move up to 75 pounds
• Required to perform functions at extreme heights and become boom and lift certified
