Accountant (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

This position supports the regional accounting team by performing key tasks for the monthly close as well as maintaining the integrity of general ledger activity.                                                                                    

• Reconciliations of Bank Statements and critical balance sheet accounts
• Prepare closing entries for month end financial close
• Prepare monthly liquor tax returns
• Compile journal entries for general ledger
• Process customer credits and price adjustments
• Other duties as assigned

• 4-year college degree in finance or accounting
• 1-2 years of experience in related area
  • Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Excellent MS Office skills

Physical Demands of Job:

• Frequent hand motion with answering and dialing phones, computer and 10-key work.
• Frequent arm movement associated various filing duties
• Occasional carrying and lifting of 15 pounds to perform various office duties as assigned
• Occasional immediate reaching to perform various office duties as assigned
• Minimal overhead reaching to perform various office duties as assigned
• Occasional walking and standing for short amounts of time to perform various office duties
• Extended sitting for long periods of time at desk or workstation
• Occasional pushing and pulling of filing cabinet drawers and use of other small office machines to perform various office duties as assigned
• Minimal squatting or bending to perform various office duties as assigned
• Occasional Climb Stairs
