Due to an internal promotion we have an exciting full time opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our Kenwood team.

Working in collaboration with our Enologist you will be primarily responsible for:

  • Ensuring the timely and accurate analysis of wine and grape products, including:
  • Monitoring primary fermentation by performing daily brix and temps
  • Collecting samples as requested
  • Chemical analysis including TA, PH, free and total SO2, alcohol, nitrogen, potassium, some enzymatic testing
  • Make yeast and nutrient additions to cellar tanks
  • Performing chemical tests on juice samples as directed Recording results accurately on data sheets

You will hold tertiary qualifications in a related science field coupled with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the wine industry.  Your excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic and problem solving skills combined with your ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment will see you succeed in this role.
