Shipping & Inventory Control (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Position Objective:

“To share a piece of our world.” You manage all aspects of inventory for wine and wine related products. You also manage the shipping, tracking, and presentation of all shipped packages. You manage multiple storage spaces and have an excessive attention to detail.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Maintain all inventory pools and track product movement throughout the company. This includes wine in process, material goods, and finished product.
Manage the shipping and receiving of all goods.
Monitor all shipments in transit and maintain communication with management and consumers about delivery and transit issues.
Identify logistical issues and plan appropriate solutions.
Work with our shipping companies and suppliers to maintain and improve margins on all shipping.
Maintain supply inventories for all shipping supplies.
Maintain clean, neat, and organized work spaces.

Competency/Qualifications:

4 yr degree in Logistics preferred but not required
Able to stand for extended hours
Able to climb and maneuver in tight spaces
Able to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly
Forklift certified
