Hood River Distillers, Inc., the Northwest’s leading and oldest spirits producer, is looking for a detailed-oriented person to fill the position of Quality Control Specialist. Experience with bottling operations and sensory testing is a plus. Applicants must have completed two years in a food science or fermentation science program, an equivalent of education in math and science may qualify.
Primarily responsible for the daily duties of the quality control laboratory. Those duties include, but are not limited to, monitoring the quality of all production materials throughout the process, providing accurate and timely regulatory reporting, managing taste panels and interpreting results, and other projects as requested by the Quality Control Manager.
