Hawkes, an Estate producer of premium Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, is seeking a talented and energetic person to join our team. The right candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic about customer service and selling wine. Hawkes is a family-owned winery in Alexander Valley with tasting rooms in Alexander Valley and downtown Sonoma. We foster a work-hard/play-hard team environment. Compensation well exceeds industry standards.
This is a part-time weekend position and with fill-in availability preferred
JOB DETAILS:
- Tasting room service at both locations
- Assist in the planning and execution of private events
QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to work independently and take personal accountability
- Comfortable in a sales role
- Must be passionate about wine, have a general understanding of global traditions in wine, and the various wine-growing regions of California
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with data management and filing
- A deep commitment to customer satisfaction and the track record to prove it
- Regularly be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
