Job Description:
C. Donatiello, located on the plaza in Healdsburg, produces ultra-premium, award winning wines and is looking for a several part-time employee to join our team. This is an ideal position for people to grow into full time and leadership roles in the near future. We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail oriented person with a passion for wine and hospitality. Candidate must be articulate, self-motivated, hospitality oriented, willing to learn, and professional with an emphasis on service that exceeds expectations at every point of contact. Successful candidate will be available to work weekends, evenings, occasional holidays and special events. Previous wine, customer service and sales experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will understand that the quality of our relationships is as important as the quality of our wines and that the primary focus of this position will be to provide an exclusive, educational, fun and service focused experience for all of our guests.

Hours
20-25/ week (Weekends required)


Responsibilities:
•  Greet and serve guests providing exceptional tasting experience that generates life-long customers
•  Describe wines (in depth with technical terms when necessary), understand and speak to our winemaking techniques, and winery/vineyard history. 
•  Provide information and education about our wines, food and cheese pairing options and our wine club. 
•  Meet quantitative sales targets, Handle routine point-of-sale transactions and shipping orders
•  Help with routine housekeeping tasks to maintain a neat and orderly work environment. 
•  Administrative Support: ordering, maintaining supplies, order entry, shipping, customer follow-up 
•  Assist with inventory including but not limited to counting, receiving and stocking wine and merchandise. 
•  Outreach Support: representing brand to concierges, drivers, other winery staff, off-site pouring assistance
•  Maintain a professional appearance at all times; personally and of the Tasting Room
•  Precisely articulate feedback from customers
•  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:
•  Must be at least twenty-one years of age. 
•  Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. 
•  Must be a self starter capable of working independently, and of managing multiple tasks at once. 
•  Unquestionable integrity, internally driven and motivated. Ambitious and hard working Outgoing, enthusiastic, goal oriented
•  Knowledge of wine and an interest in developing expertise in wine is a must. 
•  Retail/Sales experience (experience in wine/hospitality is desirable). 
•  Excellent communication skills, a willingness to grow and adapt to situations. 
•  Service driven and focused on providing a world-class customer experience
•  The ability to demonstrate superior sales skills
•  Knowledge of business systems (Microsoft office) Vin 65, ipads are a plus
•  We expect you to be a team player in an environment that requires flexibility and multi-tasking. 
•  Reliable transportation is necessity.
