COMPANY BACKGROUND:
Established in 1895, when Edoardo Seghesio planted his first Zinfandel vineyard in Sonoma County’s Alexander Valley, Seghesio Family Vineyards produces critically acclaimed wines that honor the history of Sonoma and the Seghesio family. Collected over a century, our 300 acres in preeminent growing regions—the Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River valleys—represent some of the oldest vineyards and proprietary clones. True to Edoardo’s vision, we strive to produce exceptional Zinfandel and Italian varietals.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The server at Seghesio Family Vineyards will be an integral part of the Tasting Room team. We are looking for a high-energy individual who can thrive in a fast-paced setting. The server’s main duties will be to support and assist with our Family Tables food and wine pairing experience.
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10am – 5pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Review Family Tables schedule for the day

Set table in Founder’s Room with appropriate number of place settings as directed by Tasting Room Lead
-
Food service for each course with help from kitchen staff
-
Quietly enter the room during experience to refill water, check on guests, replace flatware and napkins as needed
-
Clear plates and flatware for each guest in a non-intrusive way
-
Mark flatware between courses
-
After groups leave room, clear all items off the table and move to dishwasher area for service
-
Reset Founder’s Room between each experience for the next group
-
Wash and buff all glassware between seating’s or at end of day
-
Wash and buff all flatware between seating’s or at end of day
-
Act as runner when needed to deliver items from kitchen to Tasting Room or Grove
-
Restock wine when needed in Angela’s Table
-
Help guests to their vehicles with large wine purchases when needed
-
Back up Tasting Room Host with order fulfillment and wine purchases when needed
-
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred.

Excellent customer service skills
-
Professional and tidy appearance and demeanor

Ability to move quickly and unobtrusively

Creatively solve problems with the customer always a priority

Flexibility with changing job duties and schedule a must

Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Must be 18 years of age

Ability to communicate effectively with team

Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
