Grapewagon Custom Crush is a boutique custom crush facility located just a couple miles from downtown Healdsburg. We have 12 clients who crush between five and 50 tons each and the varieties of fruit we work with run the gamut from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, to Cabernet and Merlot, Old-Vine Zinfandel, Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Sangiovese, Riesling, and Muscat, among others. We crush approximately 160 tons and because of the wide range of varieties with which we work, the harvest dates can range from mid August to the end of October.
Qualifications:
Positive attitude, open-mindedness, and eagerness to learn
Hard-working and LOVE to clean
Prefer at least one prior harvest
Affinity for good beer, food, and wine a plus
We are looking to hire two cellar interns and one lab intern, but there will certainly be some overlap in job duties with such a small team. The approximate dates of work are the beginning of August to the middle of November. When applying, please indicate whether you prefer to work in the lab or in the cellar.
