DTC Tasting Room Position (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Davis Family Vineyards is family owned, making small lots of handcrafted artisan wines. We are an award winning winery in the heart of Healdsburg looking for the perfect fit to complete our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate is incredibly personable, with great sales ability and quick to learn the story of crafting these world class wines.

Responsibilities Include:

·         Basic operations of the tasting room

·         Focus on increasing tasting room sales and wine club sign-ups

·         Ability to execute all necessary functions on the point of sales system- tasting room transactions, shipping, will call, futures orders, etc.

·         Excellent communication and organizational skills

·         Assistance with special events (organization and execution)

Qualifications:

·         Tasting room experience preferred

·         Hospitality/ sales background preferred

·         Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs regularly

·         A self-starter who works well independently and in groups

·         Passion for wine and the willingness to expand wine knowledge

·         Flexible schedule. Weekends required.
