Description
An exciting opportunity to join one of the Northwest’s premier Wineries. The ideal candidate for the Tasting Room Lead position will oversee the daily operation of Maryhill Winery’s tasting room and report to the Tasting Room Manager. These duties include customer service, sales, inventory control, and data entry reporting. Consistently improve individual and tasting room sales goals. Implement tasting room policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Represent Maryhill Winery in a positive & professional manner upholding excellent customer service; including greeting and educating customers on the winery and all of our products, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere where customers have an extraordinary and memorable experience as they learn and taste wines.
- Responsibility for opening & closing the tasting room.
- Cash handling and tasting room deposits.
- Professional phone and email communication both internally and externally.
- Manage UPS shipping through ensuring that shipments are properly packaged, shipments are sent with accordance to wine shipping laws, verifying weather for successful shipping of wine.
- Responsible for daily inventory control as well as stocking inventory.
- Assist with marketing of the tasting room through customer tours and tasting, tasting room project planning, and assist with tasting room concert and event planning.
- Work side by side with other Tasting Room Leads to build a strong tasting room team through successful staff management; this includes but is not limited to team building, effective training of tasting room employees in all aspects of their job, staff meetings, schedule management, delegation of duties, and continuous education.
