Accounts Payable Specialist or Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

In this position, you will process distributor chargebacks and ensure timeliness of payments to distributors. 

Key Functions of the position include: 
•  Process distributor chargebacks (i.e. specialized payables) in a Purchase order management system
•  Verify daily report to ensure approved chargebacks are processed and posted accurately
•  Post and revise purchase orders according to an approval process
•  Research and validate reasons chargebacks are not paid and resolve discrepancies with sales & finance
•  Obtain and review monthly accounts receivable statements from distributor
•  Generate and distribute weekly report of open Chargebacks by Region to regional and senior sales managers
•  Review Accounts Payable report to ensure all invoices processed have been paid.
•  Respond to inquiries from distributors and provide a status update on open invoices

Skills/Educational Background:
•  College Degree Preferred
•  2-3 years’ related experience in an accounts payable, pricing, purchasing or customer service coordinator role
•  Demonstrated effective written oral and communication skills.
•  Attention to detail.
•  Ability to multi-task and change priorities quickly
•  Follow-thru skills.
•  Work in a team environment
