Distillery Supervisor (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

Job Description/Responsibilities

The Distillery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the distilling operation according to the standards set by Federal, State, and Local agencies and company policy.  Responsibilities include leading union manufacturing employees to achieve high quality, cost effective production in a safe and well-maintained facility, all within an environment of continuous improvement.  The position is also responsible for coordinating necessary maintenance activities and solving production related problems in the department. 

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum of Undergraduate Degree in an engineering or related field
• 1-3 years relevant experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving, analytical and technical skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• This position needs to cover varying shifts;  the ability to work flexible hours is required.

Prefer candidates with:

• Successful management/supervision experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
• 2 years relevant experience in a fast paced environment
• Proven record of successful leadership
