Worldwide is looking for an Account Manager for Northern Colorado (Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley and surrounding areas). Our portfolio and philosophy bring high-quality wines and spirits that provide great values to our customers.
Job Description:
Worldwide is looking to hire a self-motivated sales professional who is goal-oriented and understands the importance of excellent customer service. The candidate should have industry experience in wine and spirits. Being a team player is crucial to helping this company continue its successful growth.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain positive relationships with each account.
· Call on all accounts as scheduled. Monitor sales activities of each account, recommend appropriate stock levels to buyers, and obtain orders.
· Manage the sales process for new and existing accounts (on premise and off premise).
· Maintain professional appearance and work habits conducive to meeting personal and professional goals.
· Sell wine and spirits in the posted territory and have knowledge of customers.
· Able to work during and after business hours to support customer events and distributor events.
· Secure brand positioning and POS/display space and competitive positioning.
· Manage complete order process including order placement, shipping, invoicing and receivables.
· Set daily goals and track business progression to meet company goals.
· Train customer staff on product knowledge and conduct tastings to increase sales.
Job Qualifications:
· Previous retail sales and /or restaurant experience.
· Experience in the wine and spirits industry.
· Time management and strong business sense.
· Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license; willingness to travel within the sales territory.
· Basic business concepts and basic math skills.
· Ability to lift 35 pounds.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
