Risdall Ranch Winery is an up-and-coming winery in the Willamette Valley. We are currently looking for seasonal help during harvest months. We like to work hard in an upbeat atmosphere of like-minded people. A good attitude and sense of humor is a must, especially during harvest. Applications are accepted in person, or via email. Job Requirements:
1) Sales/customer service experience
2) OLCC pouring license (before start date)
3) Over 21 years of age
4) Friendly and personable
5) Common sense
6) Able to work independently
7) Able to lift 40 lbs
Job Duties:
1) Selling and promoting our products
2) Cleaning the tasting room and surrounding areas
3) General opening and closing tasks
4) Taking inventory and restocking shelves, placing orders when necessary
5) Preparing cheese and meat plates
6) Using Vin65 (our POS)
7) Other duties as assigned
Bonus, but not required:
1) Experience as a bartender/tasting room employee
2) Wine knowledge
3) Dog lover
4) Experience with Vin65
5) Knowledge of local area and industry related events
Pay
1) 12.50 per hour plus tips
Employment period
1) Early July until the end of December (Position will not be available for the month of January, position will be available as a part time job from Feb-May, and full time from May until December, applicants are encouraged to return, but this is not a requirement)
2) We are looking for someone to work Thu-Sun weekly in our tasting room. We may be able to work around which days of the week you work if you require it.
