Tasting Room Position Available in the Finger Lakes

Starting May 2015

Barnstormer is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Tasting Room Staff to help oversee the front of the house operations at the winery during the busy season. It is recommended candidates have some experience in hospitality and/or service. Communication and a proactive personality are key functions for the job. Those with previous wine and/or sales backgrounds will be strongly considered. 

• Interacting with small and large groups of customers and managing traffic flow in the winery

• Exploring new ways to drive sales

• Operating an IOS-based POS

• Must be 21 or older and have reliable transportation

• Tasting room organization, signage and displays

• Must be responsible, flexible, energetic, able to delegate properly, ambitious, willing to jump into any project or task, and above all, capable of helping a young winery grow to its potential.

• Must be able to lift 40+ pounds and have reliable transportation. 

• 20-30 hours per week, based on how busy the winery is throughout the seasons
